Our History

The Lion and Lioness was established in 1971 and has served the area in this location for the past thirty-five years.
We have constantly evolved in our effort to serve our clients needs and desires for the ultimate in salon service.
The latest evolution, May 31st, 2001 marked the end of 5 months of remodeling, regrouping and restructuring. Our full service salon was transformed to the next level, Day Spa.
Our day spa is located on the second floor, removed from the hustle and bustle of our hair salon. It is unique in design, a blend of antiques, reproductions and the present. The feeling is serene and ethereal. The experience is waiting for you.

Stress, in controlled managed increments, can be a healthy stimulus that promotes growth and excellence. Stress over which we have little or no control can assault our senses and slowly erode our peace of mind. Stress that slowly accumulates and remains unchecked can be detrimental to our health.

The Lion and Lioness acknowledges that busy people need effective solutions as they attempt to combat the effects of stress and enhance the quality of their lives. Our services are designed to care for the body and soothe the soul. We encourage you to explore the many options available. We believe that time taken for you, by you, is not a self-indulgent luxury. It is truly a necessity that can help safeguard your greatest treasure, your health.

General Information
Our Day Spa is located on the second floor. (Chair lift available)
Juice Bar is included in Day Spa Packages.
Terry cloth robes and gowns are provided for Spa Packages, Skin and Body Treatments.
Appointments: Please arrive on time. We realize there will be times when a client is late for an appointment, in such instances, the allotted time will be adjusted with no fee reduction. Late arrivals may require us to shorten the length of the service, change technician or cancellation.
Cancellations: We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment.
Day Spa Services or Gift Packages: Credit Card or Gift Certificate is required to reserve services that require 2 hours or more. Cancellations that are not received at least 24 hours in advance of appointment time will be subject to a 50% charge to credit card or gift certificate.
"No Show" appointments will be charged 50% of the service total.
Gift certificates are available and can be mailed to you or the recipient. They are good for 1 year. There are no refunds on certificates, but they can be transferred to another party.
We offer high quality professional products for your at home use.
First time facial and massage appointments should arrive 15 minutes early to complete our client information form.
Our draping policy assures total respect of your modesty at all times. Undergarments or bathing wear is acceptable attire for spa treatments.
